This started as a blog about coffee, and then I included tea. As time went by my intolerance for caffeine grew to the point where I could no longer drink either coffee or tea, so now I am exploring other hot drinks such as herb teas and hot chocolate.

Dorset Tea
Though the company who market this were founded in 1934, it was in 2009 that Dorset Tea was marketed. It is distributed round the country by Tesco and Waitrose, though I only became aware of it when we moved to Southampton, which is almost next door to Dorset. The company has a range of other Dorset Tea branded teas, such as Earl of Dorset and Strawberries and Cream.
It's a lively and pleasant everyday tea. There's nothing particularly flavoursome or interesting baout the tea - it's simple brown stuff which doesn't call attention to itself/ And that's ideal for washing down a cooked breakfast or a fish and chip supper. It's great for breakfast with toast and jam, or afternoon tea with a cake or biscuit. It can also be drunk on its own as a simple refresher.
It's a flexible, pleasant, undemanding everyday tea - and sometimes that's just what you want. I like it.
